Replacement Windows In Salisbury
Our shop at 779 Lafayette Road in Seabrook, NH, sits right on the Massachusetts line, and Salisbury is the town on the other side. That puts Salisbury homes about 8 minutes and 4.6 miles from our door. We replace windows and doors here with our own local crew, from the beach to the Plains.
Salisbury Beach, Salisbury Plains And Browns Point
Salisbury is the northernmost town in Massachusetts. It has three villages: Salisbury Beach, Salisbury Plains in the northwest corner, and Browns Point between the beach and the town center. The English settled here in 1638. The roads of that first settlement still exist, bounded today by Elm Street, School Street and Bridge Road.
The beach came later. Beach Road crossed the Great Marsh in 1866, and hotels, cottages, shops and arcades soon followed. Glenn Miller, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra all played concerts at the beach. In 2004 the last small amusement park closed and was replaced with condominiums. So a Salisbury home might be an older house near the center, a beach cottage or a newer condo by the ocean.
Windows That Face The Atlantic
Salisbury has five miles of beach on the Atlantic, and much of the eastern part of town is marsh. Homes near the water take wind and salt air. The shoreline is also changing: in March 2024, artificial dunes built to protect beachfront houses washed away within three days after a storm.
New windows will not stop the ocean, but the right glass can make a house feel warmer in winter. Each price below is installed, for a white double hung with basic installation. Grids and colors add.
- Harvey Homerun from $699 installed: our best value, custom-built with triple-pane glass and a .18 U-value. Nothing we sell is more efficient.
- Gentek Series 9000 from $683 installed: triple pane, a .22 U-value, and Energy Star Most Efficient.
- Harvey Classic from $617 installed: our best seller, with fusion-welded frames, double-strength glass and a .24 U-value.
- Harvey Slimline from $545 installed: a slim welded frame with more glass for an ocean or marsh view, and a .29 U-value.
Harvey Windows + Doors is a New England manufacturer based in Waltham, Massachusetts; learn more about Harvey windows in Massachusetts. If your house opens onto a deck or porch, ask about sliding patio doors too. We also install vinyl siding.
Up in Salisbury Plains or near the town center, a house may be farther from the surf. There the Harvey Classic covers most needs at a fair price. Save the triple-pane step up for rooms that face the wind, or use it throughout if your heating bills are high.
How It Works When You Live Next Door
Fill in the form on this page or call (603) 764-7212, Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00. Skip, Andrea or Gary reads every request. We usually call back within one business day to set up a free in-home measure. At the measure we check each opening and talk through which glass suits which side of the house.
After the measure you get a written quote, with no pressure. Our own crew orders and installs the windows, and each one carries our transferable Lifetime Warranty. 0% financing for 18 months is also available; our financing page explains how it works.
