What is a French door?
A French door is a hinged patio door with tall glass panels, set in pairs or as a single door with a fixed panel beside it. Unlike a sliding patio door, the panels swing open — in toward the room or out onto the deck — so the whole opening clears. It’s the traditional choice for a dining room, a sunroom, or any room that opens onto the yard.
The Harvey Majesty Hinged Patio Door
Harvey builds the Majesty with a low-maintenance, aluminum-clad exterior — in Black, Dark Bronze, Almond, White or Forest Green — over a warm interior you can have prefinished white or natural pine. Panels come in 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-lite designs, with grids between the glass or simulated divided lites.

- Adjustable ball-bearing hinges for smooth, lasting operation
- Single-handle lock or a multipoint lock for added security
- A continuous fiberglass sill that guards against water getting in underneath
- Harvey ThermaLock glass packages, with an optional screen
