The Window Source How to Hang Window Treatments Like a Pro New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine
Window treatments make a difference in the overall feel of a room. One of the tricks that interior designers often use to help magnify a room is to hang curtains wide and high. As seen in the photo, a room will appear bigger if the curtain rod is closer to the ceiling, it is often suggested to stay within 8 inches of the actual window frame.
You can also allow your windows to reach their maximum potential by using curtain rods that are up to 24″ wider than the windows. More sunlight will be able to enter the home because your curtains won’t be blocking those rays.
Use one or both of these techniques on your window treatments and see how much it changes the design of your room.
