The last thing you want is to make the problem worse, or even damage them in the process of the attempted cleaning.
Don’t Forget the Window Sill
Before you even touch the glass, give your window sill a good once-over. Cobwebs, household debris, and other unpleasantries are known to accumulate on a window sill if left unattended for long periods of time, so be sure to vacuum the area thoroughly before any further window cleaning.
An Even Better Solution
Sure, you can buy a blue cleaning fluid in a spray bottle down at the super market. But for those looking for a cheaper, environmentally friendly cleaning solution for a dirty, window? The answer may surprise you: Vinegar. Mixing vinegar with some warm water does an excellent job of cleaning the interior of your window and what’s more, gives it an excellent shine reminiscent of a newly installed window.
Drying
Most people go straight for the paper towels to dry a window, but that’s not the optimal route to take. Paper towels leave unsightly streaks and marks across the window. For limited (if any) streaking, use a microfiber cloth to remove the liquid from the window and clean the window.
